I’ve been a dog walker and daycare service for 12 years but have decided to change my service and only provide this for dachshunds so this is how the dachshund retreat has been born.

Hello and welcome to the dachshund retreat my name is Claire and I am based in Rayleigh Essex. I’ve been a dog walker and daycare service for 12 years but have decided to change my service and only provide this for dachshunds so this is how the dachshund retreat has been born. I have four dachshunds and they are called Trinny Maggie Lexi and Pippin which
are the love of my life.
Home Boarding
All dogs that stay at the dachshund retreat are treated as part of my family just like our own dachshunds and will never be left alone at any time. They will receive at least one walk a day in different locations and also have access to an enclosed field that will be hired at least once a week so they can run free and not be bothered by other dogs. Wherever possible we try to keep to the same routine that they have at home.
Daycare
Whilst your dachshund is in daycare they will have access to the house and garden and have the company of my dogs and any dog boarding at the time. They will also have at least one walk during the day. You can drop your dog off any time from 7:30 am and pick up until 7:00 pm Dogs over a year must be neutered and no females in season would not be able to attend for this service.
